Spanner Add-in For Excel

* Update from post on Oct 1, 2015

While not a Revit issue directly, some prospective users of the Spanner tools for bi-directional AutoCAD and Excel spreadsheets data have noted that they do not have the proper menu items for access to the tools. The base deployment of AutoCAD/CESCAD interface installs the commands on the AutoCAD side without issue. The problem area is the newer installs of Excel. The Add-in no longer self installs as it likely did in the past. To remedy this issue the user needs to open Excel. The user must then open the following file with that open session of Excel:

P:\_Production Related\_Technology Folder\Spanner\SPAN4-99a.XLA

When complete, the Add-Ins tab within Excel should appear as follows.
