Networked Mechanical Family Library for Use With Revit

While our current project template contains many commonly used families, it would be inefficient for the template to store all potentially used ones. A directory structure for each discipline has been created at:

\\ces-domain.local\Standards\_Revit Resources\01_Revit Families

Within the folder is the Mechanical Families sub-folder. Shown below are the contents of that folder.

The CES prefixed directories contain generically made families for a number of items utilized on projects. Some of these families may be based on a data from a manufacturer and will say ...based on... in its name if it is.

In the folder labeled _Manufacturer Libraries, various manufacturer's are listed. Below is that listing at the time of this post. Each folder contains varying amounts of families from the listed manufacturer. Some of these families have been modified to contain needed parameters but many are just a starting point for use within your projects. Note that some families from manufacturers can contain flaws and should be verified for accuracy before using.
