Sheetmetal Take-offs in Revit

A new schedule has been added to the template. The schedule, Sheetmetal Schedule (Duct Only), was created to get a rough listing of ducts by system that will itemize sizes of ducts used with overall lengths of each size as well as overall surface area of sheetmetal by size and system.

This schedule may be helpful in doing a rough takeoff of material for pricing estimates. Please keep in mind that these totals DO NOT include data for fittings, just for the straight runs of duct. Additional considerations and calculations will be needed for that data based on the individual designer/engineers practices.

Note that this schedule as well as any schedule created by Revit can be exported out to Excel for additional calculation.
