Resetting the AutoCAD Profile
With some new updates to AutoCAD 2019, we have seen that users may have lost their plotter configurations and may be missing the trade workspace settings. If this has happened to your PC the following directions will help reset the profile back to its' intended functionality.
With AutoCAD 2019 open, right click in the command prompt area and select Options...
Select the Profiles tab near the top of the Options dialog. The available profiles list should only have CESCAD2019 listed. If there are other profile names listed these will be deleted after we repair the CESCAD2019 that already exists.
Select CESCAD2019 and click the Rename button on the right side of the dialog. Add an X to the end of the name.
Click the Import button on the right and select the CESCAD2019.arg file in the directory C:\CESCAD2017\Profiles folder on your machine and then press the Set Current button on the right side of the dialog.
For any profile listed, other than CESCAD2019, press the Delete button to remove each, one at a time.
This will conclude the necessary repair to the profile. If you have any issues or questions, please let me know.
