Plumbing Fitting Family Issue and Fix

A few weeks ago it came to my attention that the eighth bend fittings in Revit were having a graphical issue. It took some time to sort out but it appears starting with the last update of Revit 2020, the fitting was missing part of its linework and made it appear that the pipe stopped short of any pipe going up. This seems to be a bug in the update that has not been fixed at the time of this posting.

I have experimented with ways to get past the issue and have found a way that appears to solve the problem. I have created a new family that will need to be added to any job in Revit 2020. This family has been added to the template as well and should eliminate the issue going forward on any new project. The family is located in the location below.
