AutoCAD Over VPN

For those that work over VPN and are having issues with AutoCAD being slow, we may have found a possible fix to help things improve. While working with Steve Kingston late last week, I had him try a few things to see if there would be any improvement. We got lucky in his case with the first option presented and we want to pass it on to everyone else that might be experiencing any lag.

In the command line type Options and select the system tab. In the Hardware Acceleration Panel select Graphics Performance. In the next dialog in the 2D Display Settings Panel, select Basic Mode. See below in yellow for clarity. Click OK in both dialogs and restart AutoCAD.

Please let me know if you had the issue and whether this fixed it or not so we can make a note of it and gauge the solutions' effectiveness. Thanks to Steve for your feedback and help. We all appreciate it.
